When installing screens for single and double doors, it's important to note that two cuts are necessary for openings measuring less than 32 inches for single doors and 68 inches for double doors. Door designs and thresholds can differ significantly, which means that it might be possible to adjust the screen by positioning it higher or lower to accommodate a size that isn’t explicitly listed. In these instances, using a filler board or trim may be required to achieve a proper fit. Additionally, doors equipped with transoms above may also need filler boards or trim either before or after the screen installation. To ensure optimal performance, always make sure that the bottom of the screen is adequately supported.
